3. Buy, Sell, Trade
We buy, sell, and trade used merchandise (vinyl, cds, dvds, and books) of various genres. We only accept items that are in their original packaging and free from significant damage. We can look at any size collection from small to enormus and we can occassionally make house calls. We buy every day without appointment. Feel free to bring your items by the shop at 1914 W. 4. Store & Mail Order Policies
Quotes are valid for 7 days. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Items purchased online, especially LPs and used items of limited press can occasionally be sold out when you place your order. Inventory is updated every 24 but will occasionally have overlap due to limited availability on certain items. An email notification will be sent (in a timely fashion) to let you know if this occurs. All orders have the option to be either held at the shop for pick up at our Chicago location or may be shipped worldwide for additional shipping and handling fees. All US orders will ship USPS Media Mail within 5-7 days of purchase (may be longer if purchased near a US holiday). We use Delivery Confirmation on all US shipping over $10 and can provide tracking numbers on those orders if requested. International orders ship First Class International and can take up to 6 weeks depending upon the customs restrictions for that particular country. No tracking is available on overseas orders. If you are making a large, International purchase, we suggest contacting us to purchase an extra upgrade to USPS International Priority for your package.
Defective merchandise new or used may be returned within 14 days of purchase for REPLACEMENT ONLY. If item is out-of-stock upon return, a STORE CREDIT will be issued for the exact amount of item. NO CASH REFUNDS will be offered. A receipt is required for all returns. Any new items must be in original packaging upon return. There are no returns allowed on special orders, discontinued items, or any new items that have been opened/used in any way. Mail order customers are responsible for any/all return shipping charges unless exceptions have been made. All packages should be returned to:

Forms of Payment
Right now, we accept credit card payments through our shopping cart interface and PayPal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. These are the ONLY forms of payment we accept at this time.
Privacy and security of your private information are our top priority. All credit card transactions are protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all sensative information before sending your order to us. We do not sell any personal information to outside sources. Any information voluntarily submitted for ordering/quoting purposes will only be used to fufill that particular order/quote. This information is used for that specific request unless you ask to use it in another manner, such as being added to our weekly email Update. No credit card or payment information will be kept after you order has been processed. In short, your information is safe and secure with us leaving you the freedom to do some carefree shopping!
Shipping & handling rates within the continental US are determined by the number of items purchased as well as the location the order is to be shipped to. If you are shopping online, these rates will be calculated during checkout. PLEASE NOTE: If there are any discrepancies on our end due to system errors (ex. too little/too much shipping paid online) we reserve the right to contact the customer to work out the difference, whether it be an amount due or an overage credit that needs to be issued. (This error occurs very infrequently and often works in the customer’s favor.)

PLEASE USE THE RATE CALCULATOR FOR AN ESTIMATE ONLY. EXACT SHIPPING MAY DIFFER SLIGHTLY. Customers should email for an exact shipping quote.
LPs + mailer = 1lb 4oz (single LP only)
7"s/45s + mailer = 6oz (single 7" only)
CDs + mailer = 5oz (single CD in plastic jewel case only)
When sending us an email for a price quote, please include your full name, shipping address, and phone number so we can get you an exact total that includes shipping charges.
